Checking Audit Records for Before and After Values - vCenter VM

Follow the steps below to check a Virtual Machine’s values before and after a modification event:

Service Portal:

1. For Service Providers, click on Marketplace > Channel Management then click the Green Audit Record icon for the client you want to check:

   For Clients, click on Account > Access & Roles

2. Find a VM Modification action. The name of the action is service.update.vCenterVirtualMachine. Click on the Eyeball icon to open the Details Windows.

3. There are 2 sections: Event Header and Service Mgmt. Under the Service Mgmt section, click on the Resource Change Arrow

4. The Resource Change section will show you each property of the VM that was changed and if you drill down further you will see the before and after values of that property.

   All values are in GB/GHz
   In the above example, the RAM of this VM was changed from 4GB to 5GB
