You receive the error 'Error 1401 encountered. Please refer to logs for details.' when trying to mount an ISO

PROBLEM:

You mount an ISO to your VM and you receive the error Error 1401 encountered. Please refer to logs for details.

CAUSE:

This error appears when your trying to mount an ISO from a catalog that is located on another Provider vDC.

SOLUTION:

Your can solve this with one of 2 methods:

Move the ISO that you are trying to mount to a catalog that is located on the same Provider vDC your Organization vDC is located on.
Copy the ISO to another catalog located on the same Provider vDC your Organization vDC is located on.
