Branding with multiple CNAME records
Branding allows the MSP to white label the portal using their own company colors and company logo/favicon. You can choose from the default themes or choose custom theme to use your own colors
Select your Primary (SideBar and Headers) and Secondary (Buttons, links, radio buttons, etc…) colors and also choose if you want the background Light (white) or Dark (Dark grey) Click Save theme to apply the new colors.
Select an image for your company logo. You don’t need to worry about sizes as the portal will adjust the size to fit. However we recommend .jpeg or .png as the image type and .ico for the favicon icon. Click Save images to apply the new logos.
You also have the option to add multiple CNAME domains if you wish to customize each client with their own domain.
For example:
Your Hyalto domain is companyabc.hyalto.com. You then change the CNAME in the top branding to companyabc.com.
Now you have 3 clients. Instead of all 3 clients going to companyabc.com, client 1 with have a CNAME of client1.com, Client 2 will be client2.com, etc…
You can then assign each branding to a specific client under the Client Management by clicking on teh Modify button and select Branding.
Click which client branding you want to apply to that client and then click Save.
Each CNAME also get’s their own branding. So the 3 clients in the above example can have their own colors and logos as well.
Finally, there is the Notification Branding default.
This allows the MSP to pick which branding colors and logos to use for the Notification email. If you set the Notification default to Client 2, all notification emails will use Client 2’s logos and colors
