Each solution displays a pricing modal which handles resource pricing in its chosen currency.

For the Allocation, Reservation and Pay-As-You-Go solutions, you can set a price for the solution itself, or a price each resource individually.

For the solution you can set a one-time fee, base fee, both, or neither. The one-time fee only applies when the client purchases the solution, whereas a base fee is charged to the client with each payment cycle.

Each resource can also use a one-time fee or base fee, but also has the option of a recurring ordered fee or a recurring usage fee.  A mix of all four is also an option.

A recurring ordered fee is a price for the entire resource. If you price 1GB-4GB of RAM at $3.00, the client will be charged $3.00 if their total RAM is within that range.

A recurring usage fee is a price for the usage of the resource. If you price 1GB-4GB of RAM at $3.00, the client is charged the difference based on how much of that resource is in use. If they are only using 2GB, they are charged $1.50.

Both fee types can also be set up in ranges. For example, if you have RAM from 1GB-10GB, you can setup a recurring ordered fee where 1GB-4GB is $1.00, 5GB-8GB is $2.00 and 9GB-10GB is $3.00.

Once you have set up pricing, a button will be displayed allowing you to save the unit price. If you have not entered a SKU number, HyAlto will generate a SKU number for you. The resource color scheme will invert, signifying that the resource is now saved and will use this pricing modal.

Once you have set up all pricing modals to your satisfaction, click “Save”.
