Manage role-based access control

Roles allow you to create and customize a set of permissions. Permissions supported are as follows:

Create – User can add or create resources
Delete – User can remove or delete resources
Edit – User can modify resources
View – Read-only access

To view the roles, click on the Roles and Permissions icon.

HyAlto comes with default roles (as seen above), but you can also create custom roles.

Click on the “Add” button to open the Roles window.

There are many options to choose from, and each can have a mix of Create, View, Edit and/or Delete permissions.

First, give your role a name and description, then select whether it will be a default role. When creating a new user, default roles will automatically be attached.

Select the permissions for the role and “Submit” to save
