Create a proper vApp Template

In order for Hyalto to work with your vApp Templates, we recommend the following steps in the creation process:

Windows Templates:

• Make sure that the latest version of VMTools are installed on the VM(s)
  
  
  

• Under General Settings for the VM

  • Enable Virtual CPU hot add and Memory hot add
    
    

    Open

    

    
    
    
    

• Under Guest OS Customization for the VM

  • Enable guest Customization and Change SID

  • Enable Allow local administrator password and select Auto generate password
    
    

    Open

    

    
    
    
    

• When you add the vApp to the catalog, make sure you select Customize VM Settings in the When using this template section
