Hyalto – ConnectWise Manage Usage Data and Billing Cycles

This document defines the data processing behavior between Hyalto and ConnectWise Manage.  As a precursor for enabling the Hyalto - ConnectWise integration interface, the relevant ConnectWise Master Agreement be both Active and have a defined billing Start Date.

Hyalto Services get reflected in ConnectWise as follows:

  • When a Hyalto Service gets created, a corresponding sub-agreement is created in ConnectWise.  Any resources defined in the Hyalto Service (i.e. RAM, storage ….) are further defined in ConnectWise as Additions.

  • When a Hyalto Service is modified (i.e. increased storage, decreased RAM …), those changes transmitted to ConnectWise immediately.

  • When a Hyalto Service gets deleted, the bundled Agreement (sub-agreement and additions) are terminated in ConnectWise.

At this time, Hyalto will only support a Master Agreement Billing Cycle which is set to Monthly.

The Recurring Invoice Parameters setting in ConnectWise can be set to either Calendar Year or Contract Year.

  • Contract Year implies invoices will occur each month on the defined agreement Start Date.

  • Calendar Year implies invoices will occur each month on the first of the month.

Assuming a ConnectWise Agreement Start Date of January 20th, the data exchange between  Hyalto and ConnectWise will occur as follows:

  • If the ConnectWise Master Agreement is set to Contract Year:

    • Creation, deletion and usage data for all Services created in Hyalto between January 20th  and February 19th will be pushed to ConnectWise as they occur.

    • On February 19th at 23:59:59, Hyalto will cease to push usage data to ConnectWise for the given account for a 5-day period.  This blackout period is inclusive of newly created Services, updates to existing Services and deletion of Services.  This 5-day window can be adjusted though coordination with the Hyalto support team.

    • On February 25th at 00:00:01, Hyalto will update ConnectWise with all Service changes queued since February 19th at 23:59:59.

    • This same process will repeat itself again on the 19th of every subsequent month at 23:59:59.

  • If the ConnectWise Master Agreement is set to Calendar Year:

    • Creation, deletion and usage data for all Services created in Hyalto between January 20th and January 31st will be pushed to ConnectWise as they occur.

    • On January 31st at 23:59:59, Hyalto will cease to push usage data to ConnectWise for the given account for a 5-day period.  This blackout period is inclusive of newly created Services, updates to existing Services and deletion of Services.  This 5-day window can be adjusted though coordination with the Hyalto support team.

    • On February 6th at 00:00:01, Hyalto will update ConnectWise with all Service changes queued since January 31st at 23:59:59.

    • This same process will repeat itself again on the last calendar day of every subsequent month at 23:59:59.
