Reseller Functionality

HyAlto allows you to create reseller accounts which have their own exclusive sets of clients. Setting up a reseller is done in two distinct steps:

Create a Reseller Account

Step 1: In HyAlto, click on Marketplace. From the dropdown, click on Channel Management.

Step 2: Click the Add button at the top right.

Step 3: Under Company Name, input the company name who will be the reseller.

Step 4: Under Username, enter the email account of the reseller.

Step 5: Enter an email address to which the login information will send to.

Step 6: Enter an identifier (optional).

Step 7: Check the checkbox next to Reseller.

Step 8: Click Create Reseller Account.

Map a Customer to the Reseller Account

Step 1: In HyAlto, click on Marketplace. From the dropdown, click on Channel Management.

Step 2: Click on the Modify icon next to the reseller account you added the reseller management capability to.

Step 3: Click on the Reseller tab at the bottom.

Step 4: Under Available Accounts, click on the Company names that you wish to assign to the reseller for on going management. The companies appearing in the dropdown must first be defined as an active client in Channel Management

Step 5: Click Yes to map the Company.

 

Manage a Client as a Reseller

Once a company is mapped to a reseller, the reseller gains managerial access to that company and is able to log in to their clients’ portals from their own by following these steps:

Step 1: In the left navigation, click on the new Channel Management tab. You will be taken to a list of your clients.

Step 2: Click on the modify icon under Actions that correlates to the company you want to manage.

Step 3: Now you are logged in as that company, and you will see that noted in  the top bar.

You are able to act on behalf of your client and complete actions such as purchasing services, change existing services, etc.
