Create an API Member in CW Manage

Introduction

When HyAlto is integrated with ConnectWise Manage, VMware-based private cloud services can be automatically populated as agreements under a company and have its resources (CPU, RAM, and Storage) automatically updated as additions to this agreement.

There are four steps to configure HyAlto’s integration with ConnectWise Manage:

1. Create an API member in CW Manage

2. Create an API key used by HyAlto

3. Configure HyAlto’s ConnectWise Manage integration

4. Map a HyAlto customer to a ConnectWise Manage company and master agreement

Create an API member for HyAlto

Step 1: In ConnectWise Manage, go to System > Members > API Members.

Step 2: Click + to create a new API Member.

Step 3: Under the Profile section:

1. In the Member ID field, type “HyAlto”.

2. In the Member Name field, type “HyAlto API”.

3. In the Email field, enter a valid email address.

Step 4: Under the System section:

1. In the Role ID field, select Admin.

2. In the Level field, select Corporate (Level 1).

3. In the Name field, select Corporate.

4. In the Location field, select the appropriate Location value under which to store HyAlto-created agreements.

5. In the Business Unit field, select Admin from the drop-down.

6. In the Default Territory field, select the appropriate territory for this member.

Step 5: Click Save.
